Curriculum

Our program uses "The Creative Curriculum" combined with influences from the "Montessori Primary Program". Children will develop and build on many independence skills by actively participating in daily routines. We strive to instill a love of learning and help children gain confidence in their abilities. Our curriculum is based around learning through play. Most activities are child-directed, meaning that we provide materials or opportunities to practice certain concepts but the play is based off of the child's interests and ideas. Teachers are always there to support children as they explore, create, and discover. We believe that Preschoolers are little scientists who should be encouraged to ask questions about the world around them. 

We view our classroom as a community that everyone is expected to care for each day. We practice being helpful, respectful, and kind to one another. Children will also learn about taking care of themselves and maintaining a positive self image.
